Cocktail time – the Purple Wedge

Sorry, but it’s time for a break, and so here’s how to make a Purple Wedge.

The Purple Wedge is a Gin and Pimms based drink, but you should use a Sloe Gin – it’s sweeter, and purple.

purple-wedge-drinkStart with a good strong measure of Sloe Gin, then add a fair bit of Pimms – don’t fill the glass, but be generous. Then add sparkling lemonade to taste (again, plenty) and then a very large dash of tonic water. The tonic is needed to take the sweetness off the drink, otherwise you may find it sickly. Experiment with flat or traditional lemonade :)
